Original Phylion SF-06 (JCEB360-11.6) 36 V bicycle battery from the Joycube series with 5-pole round charging plug. The battery is equipped with a smart BMS (battery management system) and has a capacity of 418 Wh (36V, 11.6 Ah).

Is the battery suitable for my bike?
Go through the 4 steps below to check if this battery is suitable for your electric bike:

1. Construction form: this model is also available in a variant which is a few cm longer and is then called SF-06S. Usually these are higher capacity batteries (14 Ah and above). For the SF-06S, you will need a different dock.
2. Voltage: the current battery, like the new battery, should be 36-volt type.
3. Battery Management System (BMS): the battery to be replaced has smart BMS or standard BMS. If in doubt about the usefulness or necessity of smart BMS, read the information under the button below.
4. Charging plug connection: the new battery has a round, 5-pole charging socket for use with the charger with a round 5-pole plastic plug. The output voltage of the charger should be 42 volts for proper battery charging.

Using and charging the battery
Proper use of the battery is critical to its life and performance. The following principles are important here:

• Keep the battery in condition by using it regularly (charging and discharging).
• The battery performs best at a temperature of 25 – 30 degrees Celsius, but remains in best condition at lower temperatures. Store the battery pack preferably a in cool, dry environment when not in use.
• Charge a dead battery immediately to avoid a deep discharge situation where the battery voltage drops below the level where the battery can still register that the charger is connected.
